High-misinformation voters

People on both the right and the left like to sneer about the so-called “low-information voters” who elect their opponents. But there have always been people who find politics boring, who work two jobs and raise kids and don’t have time to follow the news, or who simply don’t get the issues and rely on people they trust. I’m more worried about the people who spend tons of time following news and politics, but get their information from sources that have no regard for evidence or truth or reality. They are the high-misinformation voters, and this is their Golden Age.
